Real Stories, Real Relief:
While Meredith had used crying as a release for her emotions in the past, she noticed she wasn’t crying anymore - a change that left her feeling unfamiliar but hopeful. Instead, she reported experiencing heightened energy and some anxiety, which we explored as a normal part of the healing process. Together, we worked on strategies to help her move that energy through her body, including gentle movement, yoga, grounding exercises, deep breathing, and journaling.
br> And today? For the first time, we saw her truly smile.
Even more powerful, our team observed a breakthrough moment - Mary spoke about her journey through motherhood without tears. This was the first time she had done so without breaking down.
For those wondering if TMS could be the answer when nothing else has worked, Mary’s story is proof that change is possible. Sometimes, the shift happens quietly - until one day, you wake up and realize you feel different. Better. Lighter. Hopeful.
On the morning of his 21st treatment, Michael reported feeling a shift he couldn’t quite explain. The thoughts that usually consumed him were… quieter. The overwhelming sense of dread and hopelessness that had felt permanent suddenly wasn’t. "I don’t know what happened, I just woke up and I didn’t feel like I was drowning anymore." Michael had spent years struggling with emotional numbness and exhaustion, often turning to isolation as a way to cope. But this week, he noticed something new: he had energy. His usual exhaustion wasn’t hitting as hard, and instead of withdrawing, he actually wanted to engage with others.
At first, the change felt unsettling. Michael shared that he wasn’t used to feeling this way - almost like his body was waiting for the sadness to return. Instead of shutting down, we worked together on strategies to help him navigate his new emotional state, including breathwork, mindfulness exercises, and movement to keep the momentum going. Today, for the first time in years, Michael walked into his session with a genuine smile. His provider noticed that when talking about his past struggles and relationships, his tone was lighter, a little more hopeful.
TMS therapy isn’t about flipping a switch overnight, but for many - like Michael - it’s the first step toward finally feeling like themselves again.
